Prospect Machine Inc. pin mill MK-5-B is an Ideal machine for chemical, agricultural, mineral, food, nutraceutical, and pharmaceutical business applications. This centrifugal Impact mill is especially good for reducing dry bulk material into small-size particles.
Through the hopper, material is dropped to the center of the milling chamber, from where it makes its way to the outer part of the mill. Hundreds of pins that rotate at a variable speed of 2000 – 3500+ RPM impact material thousands of times, reducing its size.
The mill can be used with or without mesh. This unique feature allows working with a large broad range of materials. The use of mesh allows a consistent particle size. When used without mesh, particle size can be adjusted using variable speed control.
